Students and Volunteers
Do you have a little time to spare each week? If you are looking for a rewarding experience, we have plenty of opportunities for any parents, carers or friends of Hollydale who wish to become more involved with the school. We are always on the look-out for volunteers to help with many different activities, for example:
• Reading with children
• Breakfast Club
• After School Clubs
• Sharing stories
• Assisting on trips and educational visits
• Any help or skills you are able to offer would be greatly appreciated.
You will need to commit to a regular time each week please so we can plan for you coming along. (It is a requirement of every school that all volunteers have security checks and be able to provide referees).
If you have any questions, please speak to a member of office staff.
Parent Governor Vacancies
There are places for two parent governors on the governing body of our school. They are elected by the parents of pupils at this school to serve a four year term of office. This is an important and exciting role. You may, if you wish, put yourself forward for election using the election form. Please return the form for the attention of Ms Reid via the school office. Receipt of all nominations will be acknowledged. If you wish to have more information, please leave your name at the school office where our Chair of Governors Toni Spong will give you a call to discuss the role further.
