Sports Relief Fun Run
On the 18th March 2016, Hollydale Primary School took part in a fundraiser to support Sport Relief. We ran one mile in Telegraph Hill and everyone ran at least two laps or more. We were all tired at the end but we were happy that we were helping people in need.
We left at 10:00am. It took us about approximately five to ten minutes to get there. When we got there we spotted the rest of the school and saw our PE coach, Coach Shakil. We were there for about 45 minutes, and were called back to the starting point by Mr Edwards.
When we were still at school, Mabel and Emily from Willow, collected all of the money from the children. (Each child gave a donation of £1 to dress in red sports clothes.) We had three options: to run, jog or walk. However, some people decided to do all three!
We all enjoyed the experience, and were glad that we were able to raise money for such a worthy cause.
